AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Trinity Hospital of Augusta, Mrs. Beverly Thorpe Waters, 94, wife of the late Lemuel Foy Waters, Sr.

Mrs. Waters was a native of Savannah, GA, raised in the Isle of Hope and resided in Evans for the past 8 years. She was a homemaker and raised 3 great boys in the small town of St. Marys, GA.

Family members include her sons: Lemuel Foy Waters and wife, Janice K. Waters of Evans; Robert David Waters and wife, Shirley S. Waters of Brunswick; and Dennis Foy Waters and wife, Donna A. Waters of St. Marys, GA; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at 12:00 PM at Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, GA, with the Rev. Arch Culbreath officiating.
