Augusta, GA – William Ira Beauchamp, 79, beloved husband of Judith Bennett Beauchamp, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023.

Bill was born on December 5, 1943, in Jacksonville, FL to the late Sheldon Ira and Alice Dyal Beauchamp.

After receiving his MBA from the University of Miami, he worked in the newspaper industry. In 1985, he moved to Augusta, GA to become the Corporate Director of HR and Training of Morris Communications. He later created his own business, Beauchamp Consulting.

Outside of his professional career, Bill loved the mountains, beach, and Miami college and pro football. More than anything, though, was his love for his wife, children, family, and grandchildren who he adored.

In addition to his wife, Judy, left to cherish his memory are his two children: Kalen Manasco (Keith), and Brent Beauchamp; sister: Lisa Beauchamp; children by marriage: Meredith Brown (Chad) and Lindsey Sherrouse (Thomas); and his six grandchildren: Quinn and Laenna Manasco, Emma and Evelyn Sherrouse and William and Davis Brown. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother and grandson.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
