Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, March 30, 2016, William K. “Bill” Hagins, 77, husband of 54 years to the late Shirley G. Hagins.
Bill was a native of Statesboro. He was a 1957 graduate of Statesboro High School. Bill spent a lifetime in automotive finance and retired from Professional Financial Services. He loved his family and sacrificed his married life to care for his wife. Bill enjoyed fishing and old cars.
Family members in addition to his late wife include his son: Keith Hagins and wife Dawne; grandchildren: Jordan and Katie Hagins; brother: Wendell Hagins and wife Kaye. He is preceded in death by his parents: Willie and Libby Hagins.
A funeral service will be Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Kendra Grimes and Rev. Gary McWhorter officiating. Honorary pallbearers are the Masters Sunday School Class at Martinez United Methodist Church. Interment will follow Twin City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
