Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, January 25, 2012, Mrs. Blanche Claire Enderby Owens, 97, wife of the late J.R. “Jay” Owens Jr.
Mrs. Owens was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher and homemaker. She was a loving wife and the best mother anyone could have with a wonderful disposition and always a smile.
Family members include daughter: Linda Carol Owens and Jerry; son: James Robert “Bobby” Owens III and Cathy, grandchildren: J.R. Owens IV (Amanda), Clayton Parker Owens (Holly), and great grandson: Cannon James Owens.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Chaplain Barbara Grace officiating.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, including Stella, Sherry and everyone at Regency Hospice for all their love and support.
