Bo Bailey,

North Augusta, SC – Entered into rest Monday, September 7, 2009 Mr. Benjamin “Bo” Everett Bailey, Jr., 55, husband of the late Phyllis Bailey.
Mr. Bailey was a native of Heidelberg, Germany but lived in the Augusta area for the last 48 years. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond and attended Catawba Valley Tech majoring in landscape architecture. Mr. Bailey worked at a number of local golf courses. Bo also worked for General Electric throughout the world as a nuclear reactor inspector. He still enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf despite losing mobility from a spinal cord injury. He was a member of the Disabled Hunters of America Association.
Family members include his step-daughter: Frances Page; step-sons: Carl Fabian, Donald Fabian; 5 step-grandchildren; sisters: Sandra Bailey, Barbara Sonnier, Brother: Carl (Susan) Bailey and 8 nieces and nephews. Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents: Ben and Frances Bailey.
A Memorial service will be held Friday, September 11, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
