Bobbie Fain

Bobbie P. Fain, born on December 12, 1939, in Augusta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024, in her hometown of Augusta. Known affectionately as "Nana," Bobbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tony C. Fain; grandson: Travis Cason and her parents: Lonnie and Eva Price. She is survived by her children: Dawn Wall and Siesel, Deneen Leduc and Dan, Mitzi Hannah and Jason, Tony Fain and Wendy, and Danni Chapman and Brooks. And we must never forget the golden girls, Pat Garcia and Laney Walker, whom brought her so much joy and laughter. Bobbie was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward her legacy of love and kindness.

Bobbie was a cherished matriarch whose warmth and love touched the lives of many.

Bobbie dedicated a significant portion of her professional life to the Savannah River Site, where she made lasting contributions. In her personal time, she found joy in playing spades and solitaire, relishing the competition and camaraderie that those games offered. A lover of sweets, she delighted in chocolate-covered cherries and ice cream, often sharing these treats with her family during their gatherings. Music was a significant part of Bobbie's life, with Elvis being her all-time favorite artist. Her love for travel took her many wonderful places, but nothing compared to her fondness for Hawaii, which she often described as her favorite place in the world. She was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, proudly cheering for her team. The family will hold a private remembrance to honor Bobbie's life. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her boundless love for her family and her joyful spirit.
