Augusta, GA – Went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 13, 2016, Mr. Bobby Ray Clarke, 75, loving husband of 27 years to Alice Anderson Clarke.
Bobby retired after 34 years as a machine operator from J&J Mid-South. He loved his family with all of his heart.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his sons: James Ramsey (Lemora) of Augusta, Wayne Tapley of Augusta; grandchildren: Merrit Moore, Joshua Ramsey and Whitney Ramsey; great grandchildren: Kyli Smith and Cadan Smith; brother: Jimmy Clarke; and sisters: Sally Sims, Mary Godbee, Gladys Cafferty, and Sally Mae Clarke. He is preceded in death by three of his brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Baxter Stanley and Pastor Brent Garrard officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, c/o Community Foundation for the CSRA, P.O. Box 31358, Augusta, GA 30903.
