Bradford Trammell Strain, 65, of Augusta, Georgia died Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Kentwood Nursing Home. He is the beloved son of the late Ben Bradford Strain and the late Frances Trammell Strain of Atlanta. He was born on August 14, 1945 in Augusta, Georgia. He is survived by his sister, Susan Strain Hensley and husband Forrest, nieces, Kelly Hensley Farmer and husband Steve, Kimberly Hensley Franklin and husband Peter and his nephew, Forrest Mallory Hensley, Jr. as well as grand niece, Mallory Susan Farmer and grand nephews, Matthew Stephen Farmer, and wife Laura Wilkerson Farmer, Peter Anthony Franklin III, Christopher Bradford Franklin and Colden Forrest Franklin.
Brad had many wonderful caretakers and friends throughout his life and he was dearly loved and cared for by his family. He enjoyed all celebrations, especially his birthday and Christmas. We are so thankful for all the many caring people who touched his life and loved and laughed with him. His last years were spent at Kentwood Nursing Home, in Augusta. Blessings to each of you who were a part of his life along the way and touched our lives as well. We extend out heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of you who cared for him and especially to the United Cerebral Palsy home in Augusta and to the wonderful staff of Kentwood Nursing Home.
A private memorial service will be held in Augusta and Brad will be buried in Dalton, Georgia. Love Funeral Home in Dalton is in charge of the arrangements.
