Mrs. Brenda Young Goodwin

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, September 15, 2017, Brenda Young Goodwin, 61, loving wife of Gerald Byron Goodwin.

Born into a military family at Ft. Gordon, Brenda called Augusta and Glennville/Claxton her home. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Brenda was dedicated to school education and served on the Richmond County Advisory Committee for the Board of Education. Her world revolved around her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved cooking for her family and friends.

Family members, in addition to her husband, include daughters: Jessica Mae Hutchins (Richard), Jennifer Dawn Goodwin; son: Matthew Ryan Goodwin (Hannah); grandchildren: Conner Owen Goodwin, Layla Marie Goodwin, Griffin Eli Goodwin, Wesley James Goodwin; and brother: Greg Young.
