Brian was born on February 3, 1979 in Augusta, GA. He was a devoted husband of 14 years to Kelley Strickland and a loving father to Chris and Kayla Strickland. Brian impacted many people throughout his life and was very loved by all.
Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Mona; grandmother, Ramona; and mother-in-law, Cindy.
He is also survived by his father, Alvin Strickland of Edgefield, SC: step-father, Robert Silva of Grovetown, GA, father-in-law, Rick Crawford of Martinez, GA.
Sisters: Heather Strickland (Christian) of Douglasville, GA, Stephanie Silva of North Augusta, SC; half-sister, Toni Strickland of Edgefield, SC; and many close friends who love him dearly!
The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 225 Peachtree St. NE, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30303.
