Bryan Nicholas Schaffer
Augusta, GA – On Tuesday, December 5, 2017, Bryan Nicholas Schaffer DiBlasi, 28, a native and lifelong adored resident of Augusta, unexpectedly went home to be with our Lord and Savior. He was known by most as “Schaffer”. He had an infectious smile that lit up any room and he never met a stranger. He never left you without an I love you and a hug.
He is survived by his mother: Peggy Schaffer(McKinley); father: Joseph A DiBlasi; twin sister: Brittany Rose(Joe); older sister: Cynthia DiBlasi; and brothers: Jacob Schaffer and Joe DiBlasi; grandparents: Anneliese Neises, Judy Schaffer and Virginia DiBlasi; aunts: Patricia Schaffer(Sherri), Lynda Tesney(Mike), and Virginia DiBlasi; uncles: Robert DiBlasi(Joann), Kenneth DiBlasi(Nancy), and Ronald DiBlasi; longtime girlfriend: Abby McManus and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that he dearly cherished.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Ross as celebrant. Pallbearers will be his brothers: Jacob Schaffer and Joe DiBlasi, nephew: Brandon Ramrattan; along with some of his closest friends: Micah Swenson , Biagio Prestifilippo, Tripp Massie, Cody Swartz, Sean Wilcox, and Richard Jackson.
