Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, March 15, 2016, Mr. John D. “Buddy” Lowe, 76, loving husband of 51 years to Ann Holt Lowe.
Buddy was a lifelong residence of Augusta. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. He worked for 26 years as the Assistant Manager of A&P Store in National Hills. He worked as a carpenter with Union #283. He was a Baptist, enjoyed woodworking, deep sea fishing, and loved telling jokes.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: John “Victor” Lowe (Linda) and Paul Doughty Lowe (Penny); daughter: Rebecca Lowe Hart (John); grandchildren: Caroline, Robert, Hannah, Ansley, Emma, Justin, and Madison; step-grandchildren: Cameron, Brandin, and Courtney; great-grandchildren: Abram and Keely; brother: Bobby Lowe (Nancy); sisters: Evelyn Morris (Daniel) and Dottie Turner (Mark).
A graveside service will be Friday, March 18, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
