Augusta, GA – Mrs. Byrdie Jo Kerby, 81, entered into rest Thursday, October 27, 2011.
Mrs. Kerby was born in Denton, GA and resided in Augusta. She was a member of St. Mary on-the-Hill Catholic Church. Mrs. Kerby retired from the Civilian Personnel Office at Ft. Gordon. She was a member of the Green Meadows Country Club, an avid Bridge player, and loved water aerobics.
Family members include her daughter, Rhonda Carroll (Jeff) of Augusta; son, the late Robbie Kerby; grandchildren: Chad Carroll, Leslie McLeary (Marty); and great-grandchildren: Tucker McLeary and Trace McLeary.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Bruce Davis for his loving care.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Michael Lubinksy officiating.
