Evans, GA – Entered into rest at home on Monday, May 1, 2023, Caitlin Cherie Harbin, 30, loving wife of Cody Gould. She was the precious daughter of Ben and Hope Harbin.
Caitlin was a native of Evans. She graduated from Lakeside High School. Caitlin loved life, had a great sense of humor, enjoyed funny movies, and loved to laugh. She worked for the Windsby marketing firm. She was also an avid animal lover. Caitlin loved giraffes, sunflowers, the color purple, and the band Pink Floyd. Caitlin was deeply loved by all of her family. She had a heart of gold and loved others without any type of judgment.
Family members in addition to her husband include her parents: Hope and Ben Harbin; brother: Hampton Harbin; maternal grandparents: Shirley Whitfield and Joe Spencer; paternal grandparents: Bennie and Sandra Harbin, Don Laakso and the late Sandra Laakso. She adored her cousins and their children. (Quint Rabun, Morgan Weathers, Evan Usry, Hayden Stencel, Madison Stencel, Ann Sanders, and Emma Kate Sanders) She was preceded in death by her beloved Papa, Don Whitfield, and her precious, “Annie”, Sandra Laakso.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 followed by a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Ed Rees officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
