Martinez, GA – Carl Greg Schweitzer, has gone to his final resting place, Monday, September 6, 2010.
Mr. Schweitzer, son of William A. Schweitzer and Leona Gregory Schweitzer. He was a beloved son and loyal brother to Michael, Tony and Billy. Greg was a man who lived life to the fullest and he will be greatly missed by his many, many friends. Mr. Schweitzer worked at the family business, Riverside Glass, for over 30 years. He started at an early age tinkering with things. He loved to work with his hands. He was a happy, giving person. He loved his cat “Itty”.
Family members include, mother: Leona Schweitzer of Augusta, father: William A. Schweitzer of Augusta, brothers: William Michael Schweitzer of Dallas, TX, Robert Anthony Schweitzer of Dallas, TX and Martin William Schweitzer of Watkinsville, GA, uncle: James Gregory, special cousins: Wolfgang and Helga Melchior and many, many friends.
A private memorial service for close friends and family is planned.
