Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, July 28, 2023, Mrs. Carmella “Carm” Benton, 99, loving wife of the late Bill Benton.

Carm was a native of Wendell, WV but Augusta, GA has been her home for 63 years. She was a wonderful cook and loved Italian cuisine. She spent time substitute teaching and loved maintaining a beautiful home.

Family members include her son: Ron Benton (Jeriann); and daughter: Carol Warenzak; as well as her grandchildren: Jack, Ellie, and Nikolas.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Ron and Jeriann’s family residence.
