Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, January 9, 2021, Mrs. Carol T. Greenwood, 84, loving wife of 64 years to Colonel Everett (Ev) Greenwood. Additional family include her son: Fred Greenwood (Nicki); daughter: Diana Greenwood-Cogorno (Gary); sisters: Dolores Mastrino (Anthony) and Jacqueline Cramer (Robert); and granddaughter: Madison.
Carol was born in Utica, NY and was a graduate of Potsdam State Teachers C, Potsdam NY. Most recently she served as psychometrist with the Augusta College Counseling and Testing Department for over ten years. A dedicated Army wife who served as a volunteer to include the Red Cross at various installations where Ev was stationed. A loving mother, proud of her son Fred, a retired Marine Corps Officer and her veterinarian daughter, Diana.
A private burial service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
