Mrs. Carol H. Sanders
Augusta, GA – Carol Haster Sanders, widow of Col. Arvey Charles Sanders, entered into rest with her Savior on May 14, 2012.
Mrs. Sanders was born Dec 17, 1916 in Crosby, MN. Her marriage led her from that small town to many tours of duty in Japan, Brazil and Washington DC, where she lived for many years.
Her love for art and music was a rich part of her life, cultivated through many art history classes, extensive travel to Europe on art tours, and serving as a Docent at the Morris Museum of Art.
The greatest fruit of her life was seen in the lives of the family that she loved and devoted herself to. She is survived by her two children Janet Skinner (Jim) and Andrew Sanders (Ilene), five grandchildren; Adam (Millie), Aaron (Rachel), Sarah, Andrew and Jonathan Sanders, and four great grandchildren.
She was a gracious lady, wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
