Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, December 14, 2016, Mrs. Caroline F. Pippin, 85, wife of the late Mr. Ed Pippin, Sr.
Mrs. Pippin was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. She retired from the Richmond County Board of Education, many of those years spent teaching at Hephzibah High School. Mrs. Pippin was a former member of Pine Hill Baptist Church and Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Family members include sons: Ed Pippin, Jr. (Kay) of Augusta, Herbert Pippin (Darlene) of Martinez and Paul Pippin (Missy) of Blythe; grandchildren: Katie Thigpen (Chris), Angela Pippin, Wesley Pippin, Nick Pippin (Jennifer), Tiffany Robinson (Stephen) and Amanda Carter (Tyler); and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Friday, December 16, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Steve Patteson officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to University Healthcare Foundation, 2100 Central Ave., Suite D1, Augusta, GA 30904.
