Mrs. Morris was a former member of Curtis Baptist Church. For 25 years, she worked with the Senior Citizens Council of Greater Augusta and was the Director of T.O.T.E.
Family members include sons: Dewayne Dodd and wife Michelle, Joe Dodd; grandchildren: Price, Mason, Ethan, and Samantha Dodd; sisters: Betty Harvison, Connie Cope; and brother: Joe Coward. She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Morris.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School, 1220 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.
