Augusta – Entered into rest on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the NHC, Mrs. Mary Carolyn O’Connor Franklin, wife of the late Peter A. Franklin Sr. Family members include her sons: Peter A. Franklin Jr. (Kim), Jerome Anthony Franklin II, Myles Joseph Franklin, Brian O’Connor Franklin and George Lindsay Franklin (Barbara); grandchildren: Peter A. Franklin III, Christopher B. Franklin, Colden F. Franklin , Suzanne E. Gonzales ( Daniel), Savannah L. Franklin, George L. Franklin Jr.; two great-grandchildren Brayden A. Gonzales and Grayson O Gonzales.

Mrs. Franklin was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy and a longtime member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank the staff at NHC for the love and care they showed for the last 8 years.

A memorial Mass will be on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 12:00 PM at St Mary on the Hill with Fr. Mark Ross celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
