Augusta, GA – Mr. Carter Eugene Hampton, Jr., 96, entered into rest Sunday, September 20, 2015.
Family members include his granddaughters: Deidre H. Chaknis and Kristen M. Hampton; daughter-in-law: Karen F. Hampton; and several very special nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Hampton, and son, Carter E. Hampton III.
A cryptside memorial service with Full Military Honors will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Don Prosser officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CSRA Humane Society, csrahumanesociety.org
