North Augusta, SC - Catherine Joan Adams, 64, of North Augusta, SC passed away peacefully on July 6, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Joan grew up in Augusta, GA. She worked in the Medical Administration field for over 20 years and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, playing Pokeno, and going on cruises. Joan will be dearly missed and always remembered. Joan was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Harold Adams (Bruno). She is survived by her mother Joyce Adams, her daughter, Jennifer Horner (Gary), her beloved dog Bailie, her sisters Jane Flanders (Jack), Jean Roberson (Kirk), Julie Norred (Ray), her nieces and nephews and family Joseph Flanders (Lisa, Taylor, Emersyn), Mandy Garrett (Cliff), Stephen Heard (Dena, Skyler, Stephen, Samantha), Jeremy Heard, and her bonus sisters Nancy Elliott (Wade), and Connie Thompson (George).

We request all of Joan’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
