Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Trinity Hospital, Mrs. Catherine H. Beall, 101, wife of the late Louis F. Beall, Sr. .
Born in 1909, Mrs. Beall was a native of Carrabelle, FL, but spent most of her life in Augusta. In her lifetime she saw the invention of electricity, modern transportation, raised two children during the depression and saw her children celebrate their 50th wedding anniversaries. She was retired after 20 years from University Hospital as a patient account supervisor.
Family members include: daughter; Marjorie B. Bartlett, granddaughter; Sylvia B. Orr (David), great-grandson; Larry Alexander, Jr. (Tina), great-greatgrandson; Christopher J. Alexander, nephew; John H. Beall, niece; Earline Cox. Mrs. Beall was also preceded in death by her son, Louis F. Beall, Jr., son-in-law, James Sewell Bartlett and daughter-in-law, Evelyn H. Beall.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at 11:30 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating.
Memorials may be made to Pine View Baptist Church Building Fund, 119 Pleasant Home Road, Augusta, GA 30907-3517.
