Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, May 12, 2023, Catherine Deal Morton, 73.
Cathy was born in Thomasville, Georgia. She graduated from high school in Dublin and from Georgia College in Milledgeville. Cathy lived in Spokane, Washington, Gray, Georgia and Augusta. She was very talented, outgoing, creative, adventurous, and fun loving with a great sense of humor. She loved pets and they loved her. Cathy will be missed by many.
Family members include her sisters: Jeanne M. Dicasali (Raymond) and Ann L. Morton (William J. Wylie, M.D.); nephew: John M. Dicasali (Jennifer); niece: Megan D. Felt (Brian); great niece: Evie Dicasali and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents Lucille Deal Morton and John B. Morton, M.D.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in Highview Cemetery, 152 Ross Street, Gray, Georgia with Pastor Chris Smarr officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 106 SRP Drive, Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
