Catherine "Cathy" Patterson

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, February 7, 2025, Mrs. Catherine Bruno Patterson, 77, loving wife of the late Paul A. Patterson. 

Family members include her son: Ryan Patterson (Angie); daughter: Johanna Hendren; and grandchildren: Ava Hendren, Elyse Hendren, Alexis Patterson, and Jesse Patterson. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Catherine Bruno and her brother Tommy Bruno. 

Catherine or “Cathy” as she liked to be called was born in New Orleans,LA. She attended Alcee Fortier High School in New Orleans. She met Paul while attending Mass at St. Matthias Catholic Church when she was 16. They would later get married at this same church. She attended LSU School of Dentistry to become a Dental Assistant. She was a dental assistant for several years before making a career change to Polysomnographer. She was an extremely kind and giving person, who never met a stranger. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 14th at 1:00pm at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Francesco Gamboa officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
