Chandler was born in Augusta and attended Richmond County schools. Chandler was passionate about and appreciated all types of music. He also enjoyed gaming, fishing and playing golf. Known for his goofy sense of humor, Chandler naturally made people laugh and smile. He was thoughtful and generous, always willing to lend a hand. He was dearly loved by all and will be deeply missed.

Family members include his mother: Dana Bussey and stepfather Bennie Bussey; father: Casey Johnson; sisters: Madeline Johnson, Isabella Johnson Appleby, Catherine Johnson Appleby, Olivia Johnson Appleby; brother: River Bussey; step-brother: Bryson Bussey; maternal grandmother: Diane Edge-Rock and husband John; paternal grandparents: Donald and Carol Johnson; aunts and uncles: Michelle and Chris Collman, Chris and Tracy Johnson, Dale and Kristina Edge; cousins: Ian Edge, Megan Collman, Jessica Collman, Jordan Ashley Johnson, Gavin Johnson, and Ricky Edge. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Douglas Edge; maternal great-grandmother: Sarah B. Smith; and paternal great-grandparents: Vannie Sue Morris, Fred and Mildred Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. John Raborn and brother Brad Raborn officiating. Burial will be private.
