Charles A. Schreiber

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Thursday, April 2, 2009, at his residence, Mr. Charles A. Schreiber, 81, husband of the late Thelma Seslar Schreiber.

Mr. Schreiber was a native of Greensburgh, PA. He retired as a SFG with US Army Signal Corps after 21 years of service. He also retired after 10 years with civil service at Fort Gordon. He was a volunteer for the VA Medical Center. He was a member of the VFW Post 649 and former Commander. He was a member of Cliffwood Presbyterian Church.

Family members include his sons: David Schreiber of Augusta and Gary Schreiber of North Port, FL.

Graveside services with Full Military Honors will be held Monday, April 6, 2009 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Charles Rector officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 6, 2009 from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. prior to the service at the graveside.
