Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, February 22, 2011, Mr. Charles E. Teseniar, 71, husband of Nelida T. Teseniar.
Mr. Teseniar was a native of Petticoat Junction. He was a member of The Church of the Most Holy Trinity. Mr. Teseniar served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force including one tour in Vietnam. He ran in 19 Marathons including 3 times in the famous Boston Marathon. He was known by his friends as “The Coach”.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Thomas Teseniar (Kay) of Kelso, WA, Jeff Teseniar (Madge) of Lexington ,SC, Mike Teseniar (Janet) of Watkinsville, GA; daughter; Kathy Thompson (Neal) of North Augusta, SC; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Betty Grant and Barbara Dovel.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 28, 2011 at 12:15 P.M. at Church of the Most Holy Trinity with Rev. Michael Kavanaugh celebrant. Interment with full Military Honors will follow at Pineview Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Most Holy Trinity, 811 Telfair St., Augusta, GA 30901.
