Evans, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, Charles Leon Garner, JR., 62.

Charles was a long-time resident of Evans, GA. He graduated from Evans High School and studied at Augusta College. Following in his father's footsteps he was General Manager of Garner Auto Sales a family business for over forty years. Charles was a longtime member of Warren Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed the ski slopes and was a master carpenter. Charles was a beloved son, brother and uncle, a proud Georgian and American Citizen. His family and friends will miss him immensley.

Family members include his parents: Charles and Hannelore Garner; brother: Arthur Garner; sister: Julia Garner and nephew: A.J. Garner.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Cesar Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Charles' memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
