Charles Baxley Kight

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, November 11, 2014, Mr. Charles Baxley Kight, 81, loving husband to Reba Louise Kight.

Mr. Kight was a native of Douglas, GA but has lived in Augusta for most of his life. He served 20 years in the United States Navy (Korean and Vietnam conflict) and the Army National Guard (Desert Storm).

Family members in addition to his wife include his daughter: Angela Hicks of Girard, GA; son: Charles Thomas Kight of Keysville, GA; grandchildren: Jessica Miller, Thomas Charles Cardover; 3 great grandchildren; stepsons: Melvin Silvery, Jr. and wife Donna, Jerry Lee Silvery both of Hephzibah, GA; 10 step grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Burial with Military Honors and Masonic Services will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
