Charles Hamilton “Hamp” Pope
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest, Monday, October 25, 2010, Mr. Charles Hamilton Pope, 25, of Augusta.
“Hamp” was a lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. “Hamp” was employed by Stamen Medical Systems. He was a 2003 graduate of Westside High School and played on the Westside Baseball Team.
Family members include, parents: Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Pope, Sr. (“Pam”) of Augusta, brothers: Dwight Ivan Pope, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Martinez, Sigman Cox Pope of Augusta, nephews: Dawson Kyle Pope and Luke Carson Pope.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM, at St. Mark United Methodist Church, with Rev. Charles Broome and Tony Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
