North Augusta, SC – Entered into rest Thursday, August 8, 2013, Captain Charles R. Heinhold, U.S. Army Retired, 75, loving husband of Janet L. Heinhold.

Capt. Heinhold was past commander of the Southeastern Shrine Association. He was a member of the Augusta Legion of Honor’s Shriner’s Association, Inc., Martinez Lodge 710, Masonic Lodge Scottish Rite, Alee Shrine Center, and Alee Legion of Honor.

Family members in addition to his wife include son: John Heinhold and wife Wendy; daughter: Michelle Quick and husband Christopher; stepchildren: Tripp Simon and wife Allison, Stephanie Headrick, Julie Fries and husband Jeff, Cass Simon and wife Deanna; grandchildren: Brian Heinhold, Matthew Heinhold, Ashleigh Titre, Katelynn Titre, Christopher Titre; step grandchildren: Ashlyn Simon, Bret Simon, Clayton Headrick, Hannah Headrick, Adam Fries, Savannah Simon; and brother: William Heinhold. He is preceded in death by his mother, Edith Goddard Sullivan; and father, Gordon Heinhold.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Fr. David Thompson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 950 West Farris Rd., Greensville, SC 29605 or St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church: 471 West Martintown Rd. North Augusta,SC 29841

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the residence in North Augusta.
