Charles C. Reynolds, Jr.

Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024, Mr. Charles C. Reynolds Jr, husband of the late Brenda Tice Reynolds.

 Family members include sons: Heath Reynolds, Brice Reynolds (Teresa), Pat Reynolds (Melissa); daughters: Karen Hickman, Angelia Drake-Ferrer (Harvey) and Beth Penton. Eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother: Fred Reynolds; sister: Barbara Jean Johnston and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

Charles was a native and lifelong resident of the Augusta/Evans area and graduated from Evans High School. He was a lineman for Georgia Power, retiring after 34 years. After retirement he went back to work for the Columbia County Building Inspectors Office and after that, he worked as courier for Bill Beasley Homes. Charles loved to sing and was in the choir and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, (BBQ), conversation and Georgia Football. He was also a member of the Martinez Masonic Lodge. 

Our family would like to thank the staff at Lake Crossing Health Center and Piedmont Hospital 5th Floor ICU for the love and care they gave to Charles.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
