Charles Shealy

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, August 7, 2022, Charles Richard Shealy, Sr., 78, loving husband of 58 years to Charlene Shealy.

Mr. Shealy worked for many years in the construction industry and was widely respected for his expertise and generosity. Later in his career, he owned and operated Shealy Trucking. A longtime member of First United Pentecostal, Mr. Shealy was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. He will forever be missed by his family and friends.

Family members in addition to his wife include his children: Charlotte Shealy and husband Jose, Cynthia Shealy Dowdy and husband Tony, Charles Richard Shealy, Jr. and wife Donna; grandchildren: Andrew Shealy and wife Kenia, Donovan Morris, Cherie Morris, Caleb Shealy, Andrew Odum, and Kevin Odum; sisters: Patricia Bush and Carolyn Vlacos and husband Mack; brothers: Carlton Shealy, Sr. and wife Janet and Danny Shealy and wife Joy and numerous other loving family members.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at First United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Mark Maddox officiating and Pastor Adrian McClain serving as guest speaker. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mr. Shealy’s grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Pentecostal Church Building Fund, 1929 Fenwick St, Augusta, GA 30904.
