AUGUSTA, GA. – Entered into rest Thursday, September 3, 2009, at the Medical College of Georgia, Mr. Charles William “Chuck” Hubbard, 66, husband of Susan E. Hubbard of Evans, GA.
Mr. Hubbard was a native of South Pasadena, CA and has resided in the Augusta area for the past five years. Mr. Hubbard was Executive Vice President of Avemco Insurance Co., Frederick, Maryland for 29 years. The past ten years he was affiliated with Falcon Insurance Company of Austin, TX.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include daughters: Elizabeth Hubbard Townsend, Caren Cocks Chaknis, and Cristen Flanagan Hampton; son: Andrew Westlake Cocks; seven grandsons and four granddaughters; and his mother: Jesse Pflager James.
A graveside service will be held Monday, September 14, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Westover Memorial Park. The U.S. Marine Corps. will present the U.S. Flag with military honors.
The family will receive friends following the service at the Hubbard home.
