Augusta, GA – Charlie Augustus Lovett III “Cal”, 23, entered into rest, Friday, August 27, 2010.
Cal was a 2005 graduate of Westside High School. He enjoyed weight lifting, dirt bikes, and anything outdoors. He was fun loving, compassionate and appreciative to everyone he met. He attended First Baptist Church of Augusta.
Family members include, parents: Charlie (Chip) A. and Alice C. Lovett, sisters: Carol “Amber” Lovett, Carter Alison Lovett, grandparents: Charlie and Lanell Lovett, Barney and Carol Cawthorne, aunts/uncles: Melinda and Terry Shannon, Barney Cawthorne Jr., Anthony and Debbie Lovett, Marcus Lovett and many cousins; great grandparents: Mr. William Meade and the late Mrs. Evelyn Meade, the late Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Cawthorne; Mrs. Loead Dill and the late Mr. Dawson Dill Sr .; the late Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Lovett Sr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Dr. Greg DeLoach officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Marcus and Anthony Lovett, Barney Cawthorne Jr., Donnie Royal Jr., Andy Slendak, Phil and Coleman Humphrey.
Memorial contributions may be made to, First Baptist Church of Augusta - Chapel Fund, 3500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30909 or to a charity of one’s choice.
