Mr. Deal was born in Statesboro, GA but lived in Augusta most of his life. He was the owner and operator of Charlie Deals Country Store.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughter: Lesalee Deal of Augusta; granddaughter: Melinda Sousa of Augusta; great granddaughter: Jessica Duggan of Augusta; great grandson: Bailey Jarrard of Augusta, GA and nephew: Carl Russell Finstead, Jr. of Augusta.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
