Charlotte Wren Duffie

Appling, GA – Went to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 8, 2024, Charlotte Wren Duffie, 6 months amazing and loved daughter of Stevie and Amanda Duffie. 

Charlotte Wren was born in Augusta, Georgia on August 6, 2023, weighing only 1lb. 3oz. and grew to be 9lbs. 1oz. She was a fighter and fought against all odds. At a month old, Charlotte defied the odds of a 11% chance of survival due to a blood clot that a recovery has never been seen before in a baby so small.

Despite all her circumstances, Charlotte Wren was always a happy baby girl. She was known by all the doctors and nurses for having a fighting spirit like no other. Charlotte Wren overcame more in her 6 months than most people do in a lifetime.

A special thanks from her family to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Childrens Hospital of Georgia for taking care and loving sweet Charlotte.

Family members in addition to her parents include her grandparents: Steven and Sherri Duffie, Eric and Cathy Howard; uncles: Travis Howard, Spencer Duffie (Alex) and Seth Duffie; great grandparents; Kathryn Howard, Steve Duffie, Jr. (Gayle), Nancy Wood (Tim); and Connie Patterson.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 2:30 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Tracy Pressley officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M., at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
