Augusta, GA – Entered into Heaven, Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at her residence with family and friends by her side, Ms. Charlotte P. Green, age 87.
Ms. Green lived in Birmingham, AL for 35 years where she retired as a public school teacher before moving to Augusta for the last 9 years. She was an associate member of the Alleluia Community in Augusta, GA.
Family members include daughter: Cathy Green of Augusta; sons: Ric Green (Donna) of Birmingham, AL and David Green (Terri) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Adam Green (Maryann) of Birmingham, AL and Simon Green of Portland, OR; great grandchild: London Green.
Her caregivers include: Lena Thomas, Shirley Smalley, Bonita Brigham, Rena Ruth, Annette McCall, Terri Noonan, Michelle Pearce, Gloria Myles, Vanessa Adams and Trinity Hospice.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011, 10:00A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Healy Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Alleluia Community Cemetery in Dearing, GA.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Alleluia Community School at 2819 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA 30906-2409.
The family will receive friends this evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the residence of her daughter Cathy Green, 2305 Ruby Drive, Augusta, GA 30906.
