Augusta, GA – Mrs. Cheree Leonard Holcombe, 45, entered into rest Friday, November 29, 2013.
Mrs. Holcombe was a native of Decatur, GA but grew up in Wrens, GA and has resided in the Grovetown area for the last several years. She was a graduate of Augusta College and the University of Georgia. She was a CPA with Jones Jones and Davis. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and was a part of the Genesis Sunday School Class. Mrs. Holcombe was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Family members include her mother: Lynette Leonard of Grovetown; father: David Leonard (Tammy) of Stapleton, GA; daughters: Caroline and Madelyn Holcombe, both of Grovetown; father of her children: Brian Holcombe of Grovetown; brothers: Allen Redd of Wrens, GA, Michael Leonard of Aiken, SC; aunts and uncles: Bobby and Helen Herrington of Evans, Robert and Mazie Leonard of Decatur, GA, Danny and Susan Leonard of Sacramento, CA; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Chris Swain, Chandler Swain, Brian Herrington, and Rob Leonard.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Missions of Wesley United Methodist Church at 825 N. Belair Rd., Evans, GA 30809.
