1SG Charles “Chuck” Martin Ikerd, US Army (Ret)

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, January 31, 2021, Charles Martin Ikerd, 71, loving husband of Wanda McGinnis Ikerd.

Chuck Ikerd was a dedicated husband, father, and proud Vietnam Veteran. He had a great love for his God, family, church, and friends. He loved baseball and reading his Bible. One last scripture marked in his Bible reads from Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore”.

Family members in addition to his wife Wanda, include his children: Brandice L. Palencia, Tammy R. Eastridge with husband William, and Glenda J. Miller. Grandchildren: Richelle and Maddiesyn Eastridge and his four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles K. Ikerd and Cecelia H. Zaremsky along with his sister, Patricia Gould and husband Calvin.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. located at West Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating.
