Entered into rest on Thursday, June 29, 2023, Mrs. Cinderella Haskin Harrison, wife of the late Frederick L Harrison, Jr. Other family members include her daughter, Laura Harrison Graves (Doug); stepson: George Sancken Harrison; stepdaughter: the late Jeanne Duncan Harrison; granddaughter: Anna Darby Winters (Dan); grandson: William McLean Harrison (Elaine); great grandsons: Daniel Louis Winters III, Harrison McLean Winters and Regan McLean Harrison.
Cindy was a native of Macon, Georgia and the daughter of Cinderella and Harry Haskin. After completing her education at Mercer University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, she moved to Atlanta to enter the Medical Technology internship program at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She moved to Augusta and worked in the clinical pathology laboratories of the Medical College of Georgia’s Talmadge Hospital until her marriage in 1968.
Cindy loved animals, cooking, traveling and entertaining. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Church, where she served as head of the Altar Guild for several years.
The family would like to thank Raven Allen, Sha’ Wanda Hall, Phyllis Hartfield, Ruth Gowdy and Carrie Wright for their loving care and attention to Cindy during the final phase of her life.
A burial service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Paul’s Church, 605 Reynolds Street, downtown Augusta with Rev. Eric Biddy officiating. A reception will follow at the church.
