Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, December 26, 2009 at her residence, Mrs. Claire Miller Scott, 81, wife of the late Mr. Julian Eugene Scott.

Mrs. Scott was a native of Walterboro, SC but had resided in Augusta since 1967. Mrs. Scott was a member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was a retired bookkeeper.

Family members include her daughter: Sandra Scott Harrison and husband Steve of Parksville, SC; her son: Steven E. Scott of Augusta; grandchildren: Matthew A. Scott, Eric M. Harrison, Brian T. Harrison, Sara E. Scott; great-granddaughters: Ava McKensie Scott, Sophie Scott; and brother-in-law: Herman R. Scott. Mrs. Scott was predeceased by her brother: Sammy W. Miller.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Chaplain Tom Kalliokoski officiating.
