Evans, GA – Entered into rest Monday, December 10, 2012, at Westwood Nursing Home, Mrs. Claudia Dill Floyd, 74, daughter of the late Claude and Clara Dill. Claudia retired as a Management Analyst at the National Science Center Ft. Gordon. She enjoyed volunteering at the Community Ministry of North Augusta. Claudia was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a member of the Mathews Bible Class. Claudia enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Classics of Augusta. Her interest included Elections Poll Manager, reading, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.
Family members include daughters: Selina Floyd Hatcher of Pensacola, FL, Rebecca Claire Floyd of Lexington, SC and Arlene F. Reeves and husband Marcus of Martinez, GA; grandchildren: Victoria Carr, Anna Vittetoe, Phillip Hatcher, Michele Hatcher, Harrison Floyd, Seth Reeves, Sara Reeves and Mary Reeves; great grandchildren: Grady Carr, Hunter Vittetoe and Camden Vittetoe; cousin: Kim Nagle of Fort Mill.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. James Dennis, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Marcus Reeves, Seth Reeves and Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Matthews Bible Class. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 106 SRP Drive Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
