Appling, GA – Entered into rest Monday, October 10, 2011, Mr. Clay Storey, 49, husband of Mrs. Joy Thomas Storey.
Mr. Storey worked with his dad in their specialty masonry business, E.W. Storey and Son. He enjoyed fishing and loved his 2 grandchildren.
Family members in addition to his wife include son, Christopher; grandchildren: Kasey and Haley; parents: Wayne and Jackie Storey of Augusta, brother, Mark Storey (Doris) of Tallahassee, Fl.; sisters: Stacey Bentley (Ricky) of Hephzibah, Amy Hunt (Kevin) of Evans; 16 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Carol and Walter for their kind and loving care.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Lance Thomas and Kevin Hunt officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Storey, Cody Storey, Greg and Jody Quattlebaum, Justin Reed, John Dixon, Robbie and Kelly Jordan, Rob Smith, and Andy Webb.
