Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, August 28, 2011, Mr. Cluese Blanchard, 77, husband of Linda K. Blanchard.
Mr. Blanchard was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. He was a 1979 graduate of Augusta College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minor in Sociology. Mr. Blanchard retired after 20 years from Babcock and Wilcox and worked as a safety officer at MCG for 17 years. His hobbies included making wooden baseball bats, water skiing, singing and hunting.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Bobby Blanchard, Chris Blanchard; grandchildren: Cody Blanchard, Paige Blanchard; sister, Marsha Flythe; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Craig Foster officiating.
