Mrs. Constance Gertrude Hinchey Hooper

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Constance Gertrude Hinchey Hooper, 84, entered into rest Thursday, January 17, 2019, wife to the late Robert Lee Hooper.
Mrs. Hooper was a native of New Brunswick, Canada where she grew up and also where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She lived in Augusta for the last 50 years, where she worked and raised her family. Mrs. Hooper worked as a registered nurse at the VA Hospital, where she retired in 1996. Mrs. Hooper had been a faithful member of the Victory Assembly of God Church for 49 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a very giving Christian woman.
Surviving family members include son: Thomas E. Hooper (Gayle); daughter: Patricia M. Herron; step-son; John Hooper (Ruth); sister: Phoebe Sharrard (Ronnie); four grandchildren: Nikki Martz (William), Holly Levingston (Keith), Jessica Esposito (Chase), and Jackie Denson (Bryce); and eight great-grandchildren: Aubri and Jaydon Denson, Patrick and Aaron Levingston, McKinley and Layton Esposito, Zoey and Zane Martz.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Larry Hall officiating.
