Corinne Richardson, daughter of the late Joseph and Jean Prussiano, passed away peacefully in her home in Evans, Georgia on March 26, 2023.
Corinne grew up in Brooklyn, New York and Miami, Florida. She went to Florida State University where she got her degree in Elementary Education. She met the love of her life at FSU and married Bill Richardson in 1965. They spent their married life in the Army traveling the United States, settling in Evans Georgia the summer of 1992. Corinne was a retired teacher from Columbia County, as well as an active member of the community, participating in a quilting club, an investment group and a long time member of the CSRA Shag Club. Corinne was the embodiment of love and kindness, living by the mantra, “There is always room for one more”. She never met a stranger - everyone who met Corinne made a new friend.
Bill, her best friend and husband of almost 58 years, will miss his wife and the person with whom he shared his life; Erin, Juli, Kim and Michael will miss the best mother any kid could have wished for; Kevin and Stuart (sons-in-law) and Pascha (future daughter-in-law), will miss a wonderful woman who treated them as her own. Liz, Grace, Luke, Josh, Sarah and Savannah, who were so dearly loved by their grandma will miss their Bebe. Corinne’s older brother, Joe, and his wife Debbie, will cherish their many wonderful memories, as will Mary, her cousin, her brothers-in-law Pat and Dan and their wives, Peggy and Barbara. It is without question that Corinne’s extended family and hundreds of friends, students and loved ones will miss this amazing woman who always had time, a hug and a smile for each and every one of them.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Alzheimer’s Association at
