Mrs. Cynthia Adams Cave, age 84, of Evans, Georgia went to be with her heavenly father, at her residence on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.
Mrs. Cave, a native of Macon, Georgia, was born on July 7, 1931. After marrying Dewey Cave, Jr., from Augusta, GA, she graduated from Mercer University with a degree in psychology. In the early years of her life she enjoyed being an active participant in various clubs and organizations, but as she aged, her life was dedicated to her family. She devoted her married life to being a Christian homemaker. She and her husband, Dewey Cave, Jr. celebrated 55 years of marriage before being preceded in death by her husband. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Michael J. Cave.
Survivors include a son, Michael R. Cave (Beth), Augusta, Ga.; and three daughters: Catherine C. (Kim) Cave, Evans, Ga.; Leslie C. Waters (Keith), Martinez, Ga. and Elise C. Lowe (Robert), Grovetown, Ga. She felt very blessed to be the grandmother of twelve beautiful grandchildren: Helen E. Cave, Catherine R. Cave, Angela C. Cave, Allison G. Cave, Michael J. Cave (Heaven), Stephen A. Cave, Elizabeth A. Cave; K. Mitchell Waters, Whitney Waters Greene (Austin); Chandler E. Lowe, Robert J. Lowe III, and Reagan R. Lowe. She is also survived by a sister, Simone Anderson, and a niece, Denise McCorlew, both of Winder, Georgia. Cynthia’s family and church were very dear to her. She always felt blessed to have all of her family in the same town, near her.
Interment will be private. A Memorial Service celebrating Cynthia’s life will be on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 4:00 pm, at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, at 2540 William Few Pkwy. Evans, GA 30809, with the Reverend Charlie Stakely officiating.
Memorials, if so desired, should be made to the Redeemer Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 2207, 2540 William Few Pkwy, Evans, GA 30809; or, to the Michael J. Cave Memorial Scholarship at Westminster Schools of Augusta, 3067 Wheeler Rd., Augusta, GA 30909; or to Focus on the Family, (street address not required), Colorado Springs, CO 80995.
